How It Works

Here’s what to expect when you book a painting event with Calm Canvas.

Book Event

  • Date/Time
  • # of Painters
  • Party Type (Adult, Kid, Therapeutic Art, Paint Your Pet, etc.)
  • Choose your artwork
  • Location Zip
  • Pay Deposit

You’ll receive an email confirmation that we are working on getting things secured on our end.

Finalize Details with Our Event Coordinator

  • We will confirm all the details in step 1 in case anything has changed.
  • Location of event will be due at this time.
  • # of Tables you plan to use (reminder: you provide the tables/chairs).
  • Invite your guests to arrive 30+ minutes early to ensure a timely start.

2 Days Before and Day of Event

  • Final invoice due 48 hours before the event. Let us know of any late additions 24 hours in advance.
  • Set up tables and chairs 2 hours before the event (or earlier for large groups).
  • We provide table cloths (may have artistic splatters). Fresh table cloths available for $5 each.
  • Eat meals before/after the scheduled painting time (snacks and drinks are fine during).
  • Allocate a table for artwork to dry. We’ll clean up all supplies post-instruction.
  • We’ll need access to water for paint cups and a place to empty dirty water afterward.
